This is a draft edition! It is very incomplete! See the first part of this article. You have been warned!
The 1467 manuscript, a collection of genealogies of Scottish Gaelic families written in Ireland by a Scottish Gael and dated 1467 A.D., gives "Lai[-]ghb" or "Lai[-]glib" as the mother of someone a number of generations back in the genealogy of Clann Eoin dubh.[1467 MS] The <i[-]> indicates that there is a line over the <i> (a kind of abbreviation mark). The manuscript is difficult to read, and I have not been able to determine whether the the letter(s) after <g> is an <h> or the letters <li>. It is unclear what Gaelic name this might represent.
